Gorontalo located in the Northern are of Sulawesi Island which is the newest province in Sulawesi. Become independent as a new province on December 5th, 2000 after being split from North Sulawesi Province. The capital is named after the Province and it covers more 12,000 sq. km. with a population of 840,000. The area is a mixture of extensive coastlines, rugged mountains, and a large central valley almost entirely surrounded by steep slopes. The Mountainous panorama of Gorontalo serves a magnificent scene, and it’s also a place to live for various kinds of unique animals and trees, such as Babi Rusa, Anoa, Tarsius, Maleo bird and many other endemics species. Maleo bird is one of the famous endemics from Gorontalo area which is sized as a chicken, but the Maleo egg is 10x then the chicken egg size. Another endemics which can be found around the are is Tarsius, the smallest primate in the whole world; it has approximately 10 cm length. Gorontalo’s Forest covers with Ebony, Lingua, antu, Meranti and Rattan trees.
The southern part of Gorontalo’s sea, which is known as Tomini Bay, there are a number of small islands that spreads around the sea called The Togian Islands. Those islands are still unsettled and the white sand surrounds each of the islands. Tomini Bay is a heaven for the divers, because the geographic position of Tomini Bay itself, which is crossed by the equator line, has naturally presented various kinds of sea creature inside.
According to local legend, Gorontalo appeared when the seas subsided, leaving a wide land area with three mountains in the middle. This legend is plausible given the presence of high limestone cliffs along the southern coastline where ancient corals and giant shells are clearly evident in the cliffs. Scuba diving along this coastline is spectacular. Before the arrival of foreign influences, Gorontalo was organized into a federation of five kingdoms. This federation had a representative assembly to choose the king and then to advise him. Succession was not hereditary but based on the worthiness of the candidate and popular sentiment. A bad king could be – and was – removed by vote. Queens also came to power. This system had been functioning since the 14th century.

Day 1 : Arrival – Gorontalo City Tour – Transfer In
Arrival at the airport Jalaluddin Airport of Gorontalo, meeting service and transfer to the city of Gorontalo, in the course participants will be invited to pass through one of the tallest building is the pride of the people of Gorontalo Tower Greatness located in areas Limboto, district capital of Gorontalo, the tower was built to resemble the Tower Eiffel. Then follows City Tour Gorontalo, including seeing the Governor’s Office of Gorontalo, Parliament Office which is located on a hill, next Otanaha Fortress, which is the fort the Portuguese were built in the 15th century, The fort is located on the shore of Lake Limboto and has hundreds of stairs, where up above the participants could see the view of Lake Limboto. Then the tour participants Tomb JU Panggola namely Tomb sacred remembered as Spot Islam Gorontalo that has existed since the 15th century, then the Village Iluta ie entrance Lake Limboto where this place was used as a landing aircraft Amphibious Katelina that riding by President Soekarno, Walima Mas, Kubah mas on the hill overlooking the bay of Tomini so beautiful. Day 2 : Full Day Tour Marine Park Olele
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Olele Marine Park located 60 minutes towards Bone Bolango District which is famous with their unspoilt marine life. Arrive in Olele, you will be served with Fresh Coconut as your welcome drink. Then explore the Olele Underwater life with our experienced snorkeling guide. If you are lucky enough, you will be able to see Turtle and swim with them. Ater snorkeling, returning to the shore for Lunch. After lunch, free program. Afternoon, return to Gorontalo for overnight.
Day 3 : Saronde Island
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Saronde Island, the famous of unspoiled and exotic white sandy beaches. Arrive in Saronde Island, check in at the cottages that provided for your and enjoy the atmosphere of the island with a beautiful clear water colors. Snorkeling around the Saronde Island will be provided by your guide. Free Program afterwards.
Day 4 : Transfer Out – Departure
After breakfast Saronde island, participants will be heading back to the city and to the Walima Gorontalo Mas, kubah mas on the hill overlooking the bay of Tomini so beautiful. Then transfer to Gorontalo Airport for your next destination flight.
